We must visit nature not as conquerors but as acolytes. At last we know enough to be modest;
and armed with that new modesty, we must change the way we think, make, and dream.

Distinguishing smokers from non-smokers, or drug users from non-drug users based on their sweat...? This wearable plasmonic sensor based on TiVC MXene makes it possible! Excited to present our collaborative work with Dr. Alei Dang now published on ACS Sensors. 29 Dec 2023
Our collaborative work with Dr. Suhang He on "Modulation of redox reactivity of resazurin through host-guest complexation with Cucurbit[n]uril (n = 7, 8)" has been published on Front. Chem. Our findings could inspire future design of supramolecular electrochemistry systems that involve proton transfer. 29 Dec 2023
Really excited to feature our recent publication in ACS Nano in collaboration with Dr. William Peveler. Attaching and swapping ligands on the surface of quantum dots (QDs) remains a daunting task, as it calls for strong, yet reversible, linkages. In this work, we tackled this dilemma by exploiting the robust binding between cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) and CdTe QDs, in conjunction with the rich host-guest chemistry of the surface-anchored CB7. |
